Izumi Kanai, from class 3-B here.
I know many might not know much about me, so if there's anything you're wondering, feel welcome to ask! I love talking to and getting to know new people. ~

 Number #3. Ryuhei x Izumi x Mitsuru
There are a few canon love triangles in the story (Shuya/Noriko/Yoshitoki, Yukie/Shuya/Noriko, Takako/Hiroki/Kayoko etc), but this is the only one I can actually adore!
I love all thee of them together and I love each combination of them together~

O-Oh? Hmm, so this is how it really is, Ryu? Haha…!

Number #1. Mitsuru x Izumi
I probably love this ships as much as I do because I adore the bad boy/good girl combination, not to mention how sweet I think it is that Mitsuru kept away from Izumi because he thought she was too good for him. But given her nature, she probably wouldn’t have cared about his background at all and have seen what he was really like underneath. And of course, the way he reacted to her death in the original version of the novel is heartbreaking.
They both derive from their character tropes slightly too, making the pair seem a lot more interesting in my eyes. He’s the gang leader (He’s still technically the leader from what I’ve heard) who, although tries to put up a front in the presence of others, is actually rather nice under all his bad boy bravado. And she’s the rich girl, who is surprisingly down to earth, but still delicate. They mesh well together in my eyes~
Even though Yutaka held stronger feelings for Izumi and was more approachable, I’ve always thought that if they all survived, Izumi would have picked Mitsuru.

Ugh. M-Mitsuru Numai is…r-really hot. I t-think he is the hottest guy…

Wow Mayumi. I knew it.
Anonymous sent: If not, do you prefer him or do you not like Numai (in both mediums)

I like both of them (and the novel one). I like that we get inside his head more in the manga (and novel) and get a tiny bit of backstory. And as I said, he didn’t get much screentime in the movie, but he did try to take the bullets for me! That was real touching. So he must have been a good guy there too.

Anonymous sent: Do ou think movie Numai is the same as manga Numai?

Well it’s hard to tell, given he had so little screentime. The biggest difference to me was that in the movie it was his gang, and he didn’t have that whole “In love with Boss”-thing going on. I think that must have had some to say in terms of his personality as well.

Anonymous sent: So..your picture is awkward now, don't chu think? A bit to happy with Mitsuru..

I was seriously thinking this when I was on my blog just earlier. I think I’ll have to change it soon. But we look so cute…

Anonymous sent: Do you still have feelings for Mitsuru?

Mayumi, I know this is you. That’s awkward…
